I've been searching of AI-powered research databases and literature review tools for my term paper, and dang, it's like a whole new universe out there!

I'm lowkey anxious about using these tools though. Like, do they really filter out legit sources, or am I gonna end up citing some random bot's blog?

Like, learning how to do a proper literature review the old-fashioned way is literally a skill you're supposed to develop in college. Going to the library databases, figuring out search terms, reading abstracts, following citation trails—that's the stuff that actually teaches you how research works.

These AI tools feel like using training wheels forever. You never actually learn to balance, yknow?

That said, I totally get the appeal when you're drowning in deadlines. Just... maybe use them after you've already done your own search? As a "did I miss anything?" check rather than your main method.
